The recent changes to the MLS rules regarding comission have made this market extremely competitive. Now more than ever, you will get what you pay for. There are a good number of licenced people in this market area who are very willing to reduce their paycheck right out of the gate in hopes you will sign something. Some even before you ASK! Rightly so.
If a person is willing to negotiate their paycheck away in order to get you to sign something…then know for sure the value of their negotiating skils! Know for sure that low negotiating experience and or ability will negatively impact your bottom line… far beyond the false savings up front.
You know intuitively that you get what you pay for.
OVER PROMISE BUT UNDER DELIVER
In a multi hundred thousand dollar transaction, trying to save a little on comission will definitely impact your bottom line results in a negative way!
