I ran into my own real world example of the value of making comparisons recently:
I was mentioning to a business associate that I thought it was great that the Chamber had mailed out copies of the Visitor Guide to S’land homes this year. The businessperson (who has an ad in the guide) kind of shrugged their shoulder as if, sure, ok, but not a big deal. So, then I said…well think of it this way…Last year not one homeowner in Summerland had that guide with your ad in it in their home, unless by happenstance. This year, every homeowner in Summerland has that guide with your ad in it in their home, on purpose.
They got it…because of comparison, remember if you are looking to hire a local Realtor, it makes sense to compare.
