August 4 – 8, the Gala Players will be presenting URINETOWN – the Musical. Described as a “marvelously self-conscious satire” this musical comedy is about a city in the midst of a drought so devastating that a malevolent corporation has been able to take control of all the toilet facilities and charge admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he’s had enough, and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
